What if healing isn’t about finding the right modality, but learning to listen to your body?

Over the past few weeks, sound bowl floating, ocean waves, and equine therapy have reminded me to release instead of hold everything together. It felt like that horse was reflecting my protector part back to me, and something in me softened and let go.

Healing feels less like searching for answers and more like coming home to myself. What has helped you reconnect with your own body?

What if we stopped trying so hard to be like everyone else?

Maybe we’re not here to fit into someone else’s mold.
Maybe we’re here to become more fully ourselves.

We can learn from one another, be inspired by one another, and walk alongside one another—without losing who we are.

I believe we belong to each other…
not to be like each other.

✨ Coming home to yourself begins with curiosity, compassion, and the courage to simply be.

Who am I without all the labels?

Years ago, I was asked this question at a retreat—and I could not answer it.

For so much of my life, especially within the church, I felt I always had to be powerful, faithful, strong, and certain. I knew how to wear the labels, but I had lost connection with who I truly was.

Church hurt left me feeling deeply alone. But when I finally became vulnerable enough to share what I was feeling, other women quietly began saying, “Me too.”

They wanted a place where they could tell the truth without being judged, corrected, prayed over, or told to have more faith.

That is why I began creating small, confidential groups where women could become curious about themselves instead of shaming or trying to fix themselves.

When the groups moved online, I heard even more stories of church hurt, unanswered questions, and women longing for a safe place to explore what they truly believed and needed.

Coming Home to Myself is not about following a formula or becoming a “better” version of yourself.

It is about looking inward with love, observation, and curiosity. It is about revisiting the parts of our stories that shaped us and learning to give ourselves what others may not have been able to give.

The past few years of illness of family member, caregiving, loss, and grief have also taught me to listen more deeply to my body—and that connection has become part of these groups too.

Women continue coming back because they value the safety, honesty, and connection they find here.

Now, I want to open this space to more women.

Maybe something in my story will whisper to something in yours:

“Me too.”

Registration is open for the next online group, offered on a donation-only basis:

A Guided Journey of Curiosity, Presence & Self-Connection

Have you ever felt disconnected from yourself?

Maybe you've spent years taking care of everyone else...
Being the strong one.
The responsible one.
The one who keeps going.

Maybe you've read the books, listened to the podcasts, or even been to therapy...

Yet you still find yourself wondering,
"Why do I still feel so disconnected from me?"

This isn't just another online group.

It's an invitation to slow down.

To pause long enough to notice what your body has been trying to tell you.

To become curious about your feelings instead of judging them.

To reconnect with the parts of yourself that may have been tucked away while you were simply trying to survive.

Together, we'll gently explore:
🤍 Listening to your body
🤍 Understanding your feelings
🤍 Connecting with your inner child
🤍 Exploring your story with compassion
🤍 Moving from self-criticism toward curiosity
🤍 Learning to let love—not fear—lead

This isn't about fixing yourself.

It's about remembering who you are beneath the expectations, survival patterns, and roles you've carried for so long.

You'll also experience something many of us are deeply longing for...

✨ A place to slow down.
✨ A place to be seen.
✨ A place to connect—with yourself and with other women walking a similar journey.

💗 Small group • Limited spots available (limit to only 6 women)

🎉 SPECIAL OFFER -- this group is now DONATION ONLY.

📅 Begins Tuesday, Aug 4
🕖 7:00–8:30 PM CST (Zoom)

If something in your heart whispers, "I think I need this..." I'd love to walk alongside you.

What makes "Coming Home to Myself" different?

This isn't simply about learning new information.

It's about creating space to slow down enough to experience yourself.

This group intentionally combines:
✨ gentle teaching and reflection
✨ nervous system awareness
✨ body connection and embodiment practices
✨ breath and presence
✨ curiosity instead of self-judgment
✨ meaningful connection with other women walking similar paths

Instead of asking:

"How do I fix myself?"

We begin asking:

"What am I noticing?"
"What am I feeling?"
"What might my body be trying to tell me?"
"What do I need?"

Because healing doesn't only happen in our minds.

Sometimes healing happens when we finally feel safe enough to:

pause,
notice,
feel,
listen,
and stay present with ourselves.

Many of us have spent decades caring for everyone else, performing, producing, surviving, and pushing through.

This group is an invitation to practice something different:

To slow down.

To reconnect with your body.

To become curious about your story.

To experience being witnessed in a safe place without needing to have it all together.

To remember yourself.

** Will start in August.

Somewhere along the way, I realized that what I want most isn't to sell a program.

I want to create a space where women can gather, connect, be honest, and come home to themselves.

A space where there is no pressure to perform, fix, or have it all together.

Coming Home to Myself is an online community for women who desire a deeper connection with themselves. Through guided conversations, reflection, and shared experiences, we'll explore our stories, emotions, and inner world in a safe, supportive space. It's a journey of curiosity, self-compassion, and coming home to the person you've always been beneath the expectations and experiences of life.

More details coming soon.

There was a time I believed peace, and knowing was something I had to find…
somewhere outside of me.

Through the right teaching.
The right steps.
The right person to follow.

And while there is beauty in learning from others…
I’m beginning to see something different.

That so much of what we’re searching for
is found in the quiet courage
to be present with our own experience.

To notice what we feel.
To stay with ourselves.
To be curious instead of rushing to fix or escape.

Even in difficult seasons…
there can be small, unexpected openings
to connect, to soften, to see something we didn’t notice before.

Not because everything is okay—
but because we are here for it.

Learning to live this way has been slow…
and very real.

And I’m still learning.
