PSA: if you’re considering lip blush for your wedding… start earlier than you think 👄

Lip blush is a two-appointment process—not a last-minute treatment.

This was after session one: soft color, natural brightness, and subtle definition. During healing, lips typically fade around 30% (completely normal), which is why a second appointment is needed to perfect the color, fill in any areas that healed unevenly, and lock in your final result.

If you have engagement photos, bridal showers, bachelorette trips, or your wedding coming up, now is the time to start—not two weeks before your event.

A lot of the redness has already improved after the first session—which is why the brown pigmentation may appear more noticeable right now. It’s not necessarily darker… it’s just becoming more visible now that the red tones have calmed down.

We did treat both concerns during this appointment, but brown pigmentation typically takes longer to break up and fade than redness.

This is exactly why we always talk about treatment plans—not quick fixes. Most patients need at least 2 sessions (sometimes more depending on the skin concern) to get the best outcome.
