“Is it okay to bring children to a funeral service?”

We understand this is an important decision, and we’re here to support you. For many children, a funeral can be a meaningful part of their grieving journey—just as it is for adults.

If you choose to include your child, preparation can make a big difference. Gently explain what they may see and experience, including that some people may be sad or crying. Encourage them to ask questions ahead of time so they feel more comfortable and supported.

For babies, toddlers, and very young children, the decision is entirely up to you and what you feel is best for your family. Whether attending a visitation, funeral, or celebration of life, every child and situation is unique.

We are always here to help guide you through these moments with care and compassion.

Caregiver Assistance
Caregiving involves providing assistance to another individual who is ill, disabled, or elderly and frail. Many times caregiving involves helping someone with physical, emotional, social, and psychological needs.

In the United States, family and friend caregivers provide approximately eighty percent of all care. Caregivers play a vital role in helping seniors maintain their health and independence. As the population ages, so will the demand for caregivers.

Protecting your peace of mind after a loss. 🤍

Many families don't know that you can drastically reduce unwanted mail, emails, and marketing calls for a deceased loved one. The Deceased Do Not Contact List (DDNCL) is a free registry that tells companies to remove a loved one's details from their marketing campaigns.

It’s a small step that can save a lot of emotional energy. It’s a hidden gem of consumer privacy that most people only discover when they need it most. The Deceased Do Not Contact List helps protect your loved one’s identity and stops painful reminders from cluttering your mailbox.

Pass this along to anyone who might be navigating the paperwork and logistics of losing a family member.
The direct link to register a loved one is:

(Note: The registration is hosted by the DMA on their official IMS-DM consumer care portal).
