Quick, easy, free, and confidential! PILLAR's Health Clinic is the one stop shop for testing, treatment, and preventative care!

Although very quickly done in the attached video, the testing process will take about 15-20 minutes from entering to exiting the building (This of course depends on questions and the needs of the individual).

Sexual Health stigma starts very early, usually within the family unit for many reasons (due to ignorance, discomfort, etc). This of course continues to extend throughout a persons life. And when an individual reaches the time where they would be interested in sexual activity, this lack of education can lead to many negative health outcomes.

Examples like contracting HIV are one of the outcomes that is the most discussed. Even with this discussion, many individuals are still not properly educated on the prevention of such outcomes. When it comes to things like treatment, HIV is more manageable than ever! Those who live with it can continue on with their regular lives as long as they continue with treatment!

💜 Substances & Consent: What You Need to Know

Consent can become more complicated when alcohol or other substances are involved, but one thing is always clear: consent must be freely given, informed, and ongoing.

Before engaging in sexual activity, check in with your partner. Are they alert and aware of what's happening? Can they understand the situation and communicate their choices? If someone is too intoxicated to understand what's happening or make and communicate a voluntary choice, they cannot consent. When you're unsure, stop. It's always better to wait until everyone can clearly and freely communicate their consent.

Looking out for your partner means respecting their boundaries, paying attention to their well-being, and never making assumptions. Consent is a shared responsibility, and everyone deserves a safe, respectful, and consensual experience. 💜

A “no” is not an invitation to negotiate. 👀

No begging.
No guilt trips.
No “but why?”
No trying to change their mind.

If someone says no, respect the no and keep it moving. 💜

And remember: pressure doesn’t become consent just because someone eventually gives in.

Give people room to make their own choices, respect their boundaries, and don’t make them feel bad for saying no.

Consent is freely given, not pressured into existence.

Put words to the emotion instead of letting it take over.

Ask yourself, “How do I want to respond?”

🔄 RESET
Didn't like how you responded? Try again. You can always reset.

💜 You don't have to control every emotion. You can learn to control what you do with it.

We will be doing outreach testing this Thursday October 15th at Pinseeker Golf Lounge from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. We'll not only be providing free services for HIV, Syphilis, Chlamydia and Gonorrhea Testing, but we will also be providing free food!

Results for HIV and Syphilis come out 15min or less! Services are entirely confidential! And all done in a fun environment! Don't wait up! Services are first come, first serve and those who are late may miss out! We hope to see y'all there Laredo!
