The magnolia are magnificent this morning at Eagle Lake Park! And it smells incredible. In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), magnolia is prized for its soothing and balancing effects on the mind and gut. The bark (Hou Po) and flower buds (Xin Yi Hua) are rich in active compounds like magnolol and honokiol, which provide powerful anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and neuroprotective properties.

Flower Essences, think Bach flower remedies, have been healing and invigorating and soothing humans for thousands of years! Kevin will tell you all about the history and current use of Flower Essemces as medicine and the importance of sustainable harvesting and connecting with the nature and spirit of the flowers also! And of course stay for the fun, learn all about making Flower Essences. And take some home to mom too, unless you keep it for yourself.
10-12 intro, history, importance, harvesting, and preserving.
1-4pm hands in. Have fun woth the flowers and learn how to make your own! $100 for while day. $40 for morning, $60 for afternoon. Register for both or just one.
