October brings pink ribbons everywhere, but this month is really about people. The ones who rang the bell and are learning how to be themselves again. The ones sitting in an infusion chair this week counting down treatments. And the families standing beside both of them.

To everyone who made it through: your strength changed the people watching you do it. To everyone still fighting: keep going, and please let people help you. Jill Lee has always been driven by curiosity and a desire to better understand people. After years of building a career in research, product, and marketing, she set out to find a business opportunity where she could pair her professional experience with meaningful community impact.

The search became personal after her family was unable to fulfill her mother's wish to age in place. "I wanted to make sure other families had the opportunity that we didn't," Jill shared.

Richard Fulton path to BrightStar Care was shaped by a lifelong appreciation for service and a desire to make a meaningful impact in his community.

After building a successful career in marketing and operations, Richard was inspired to pursue business ownership by his family's experience caring for aging loved ones. Witnessing the challenges of caregiving firsthand reinforced the importance of accessible, high-quality home care and motivated him to bring those services closer to the families who need them most.

“Seeing my mom care for both of her parents really opened my eyes to just how much comes with being a caregiver,” Richard shared. “That's when I realized how important quality home care can be for an entire family.”
