It was a wonderful opportunity to meet community members, answer questions, and talk about the ways Merrimack Health is here to care for our communities.

Thank you to this amazing group who spent their Saturday morning supporting Merrimack Health and raising funds for our maternity and neonatal services and made the Steps for Little Hearts walkathon in Lawrence a success.

Your efforts support high-quality maternity and neonatal care for babies and families at Merrimack Health Lawrence Hospital — right here in the community we’re proud to serve.

Thank you, especially to Brenda N. Javier Heredia for organizing and executing this event, and to Methuen school committee member Alejandro Baez, for coming by to cheer on the walkers and volunteers.

We’re grateful for every step, every helping hand and everyone who came together to support our littlest patients. 💕

A few flowers can go a long way in brightening someone’s day. 🌸

"Bloom and Zoom" started at Methuen Hospital in 2025, when employees began sharing fresh flowers grown and cut from their home gardens with coworkers.

They turned their love of gardening into a simple way to spread a little cheer, one bloom at a time. This year, they grew even more flowers to share with colleagues across Lawrence Hospital, Methuen Hospital and Haverhill Hospital.

We’re so grateful for the employees who share something they love with others. It’s a simple gesture that brings a lot of joy. 💐

With more than 30 years of experience in family medicine, Dr. Abib provides primary care for people of all ages. He speaks English, Italian and Somali and is committed to making everyone feel heard, respected and cared for.

Merrimack Health is excited to bring Baby Café to the Lawrence Public Library. 💙

Baby Café is now available in Lawrence, giving parents and families a welcoming place to get support, ask questions and connect with others.

This free, weekly drop-in program is a place where parents can meet with trained lactation professionals, get help with breastfeeding, pumping and feeding and share their experiences with other parents.

Merrimack Health joined Greater Lawrence Family Health Center’s community health fair, bringing together community members, local organizations and health professionals for conversations about health, wellness and local resources.

We were happy to connect with people across the Merrimack Valley, answer questions and share health information that supports healthier lives.

We value opportunities like this to listen, build relationships and work alongside our community partners to support the health and well-being of the Merrimack Valley. We’re grateful to be part of a community that comes together to make the Merrimack Valley healthier.

As our nation celebrates its 250th anniversary this Fourth of July, Merrimack Health and Lawrence Hospital are proud to reflect on a milestone of their own—150 years of caring for the Merrimack Valley.

For more than half of our country’s history, we've been honored to care for families through medical breakthroughs, joyful beginnings, and everyday moments of healing. While much has changed over the decades, our commitment to our communities remains strong.
