Pain isn’t always the real problem. Sometimes it’s your body’s warning sign that something deeper isn’t moving or functioning the way it should. 👇
-
That “tight” low back?
That nagging knee pain after runs?
That shoulder discomfort that keeps returning?
-
It may not just be soreness. ❌
-
Recurring pain is often caused by:
✔️ Joint restrictions
✔️ Muscle imbalances
✔️ Poor movement patterns
✔️ Compensation from other areas of the body
-
The problem with only stretching, resting, or foam rolling? It may temporarily relieve symptoms without fixing the root cause.
-
When your body can move the way it was designed to, it doesn’t have to compensate—and that’s when real healing can happen.
-
If your pain keeps coming back, your body is trying to tell you something. The question is… are you listening?

#️⃣1️⃣ MOST COMMON OVERUSE INJURY ➡️ TENDINITIS OR TENDINOSIS
-
One of the most common challenges we see athletes and active individuals face is overuse injuries. These are conditions that develop from repetitive stress on the body.
-
Overuse injuries occur due to repetitive motion or strain on a body part over an extended period of time. These injuries typically develop gradually as the body doesn’t have enough time to recover from the repeated stress, leading to inflammation or micro-trauma in the tissues. 🤕
-
Tendonitis is one of the most common overuse injuries we see here in the office. It occurs when a tendon (the band of connective tissue that connects muscles to bones/joints) gets inflamed typically due to a muscle or muscle groups getting tight and weakened over time from overuse and pulling on the tendon. 😳
-
Common Examples:
🎾 Tennis or Pickleball Elbow (outer elbow pain)
🏑 Golfer's Elbow (inner elbow pain)
⛹️‍♀️ Achilles (heel pain)
🏃 Plantar Fasciitis (heel or foot pain)
🤾‍♀️ Rotator Cuff (shoulder pain)
🚴‍♂️ Jumper's Knee (knee pain)
-
Whether you’re training for a race, lifting weights, or simply staying active, these injuries can sideline you, causing pain and limiting your performance. The good news? With the right strategies, you can both prevent and recover from them. Give us a call today at (785) 842-7325 and get out of pain and back to performing at your peak! 💪
