-MI Residential Community is an award-winning retirement community comprised of one and two bedroom apartments known for its friendliness, comfort and security

•Marguerite’s House Assisted Living Residence allows residents to maintain their independence in a modern, beautiful and affordable apartment with the peace of mind that support services are available if needed.

-MI Transportation arranges daily chair car transport services for residents for social outings as well as for shopping and medical needs. MI Transportation also provides a valuable service for families whose loved ones are participants in one of the three adult day health programs.

We are seeking a professional, compassionate, and experienced Hairdresser to provide salon services for residents at MI Residential Community, Inc. The ideal candidate will be skilled in a variety of hair care services, including haircuts, styling, shampooing, and basic grooming, while delivering exceptional customer service in a warm and respectful environment.

This position requires availability for a minimum of two days per week. The successful candidate will enjoy working with older adults, demonstrate patience and professionalism, and be committed to helping residents look and feel their best.

Flower Power Friday. Residents enjoyed learning about the tropical flowers of Hawaii, creating crystal flowers with Borax, and finished their cactus rock gardens. Entertainer Jeanne Claire rocked a fun sing along in the afternoon and residents then enjoyed coconut pineapple sundaes and decorated homemade flower cookies!

Swing. Residents created butterflies with their favorite memories for our kindness wall. They then planted their seeds of choice to prep for our garden. The day ended with a Talent Show featuring our many gifted staff and residents who sang, played instruments, or danced. What a great day!!!
