Another goodbye was said today for this sweet boy and his family. He decorated the table for me and made me a thoughtful card. I love doing in home therapy as I get to connect with families on a deeper level.

Last day for this cutie. Glad I left before I started tearing up. I know he’s going to do great things!

Last week and this week I’ve had to say goodbye to three clients who have graduated from speech. It’s always bittersweet when I have to say goodbye to these sweet kids and their wonderful families.

Providing in home therapy also means I go to client’s daycares and ABA centers. Today we worked in the ABA center’s gross motor room. So many things can be worked on such as “more, again, swing, stop, go, on, off, up high, run, slide, etc”.

So excited to announce I’m going back to school this fall to get my doctorate. Rocky Mountain University’s program will allow me to continue to work while taking classes.
