We were honored to welcome Sarah Hohman, Director of Government Affairs for the National Association of Rural Health Clinics, as she visited several of our clinics in East Linn County. ☀️ During her visit, Sarah met with providers and clinic leaders to learn more about the work happening in our rural communities and see how our teams help bring quality care closer to home. 💙 At Samaritan Health Services, we're proud to operate 13 rural health clinics across East Linn County and the Oregon coast, helping to make sure rural communities have access to the care they need.

This Friday, Oct. 16, stop by for coffee and treats (or 2 or a dozen!) at the Albany, Lebanon and Philomath locations and 100% of sales will be donated to Samaritan Foundations to support our local mammography funds. 💸

We are grateful to The Human Bean for being tremendous supporters of Samaritan’s mission, and their customers for their generosity. Over $175,000 has been donated through this partnership to support women who are uninsured and underinsured receive the care they need! 💙

Community is at its best when neighbors help neighbors. 🥰 We're thankful to the Lebanon Fire District for donating a car seat and essential supplies to one of our patient families, and to Walmart Lebanon - S Santiam Hwy for generously providing an additional gift card. 💙 Acts of kindness like these demonstrate the power of community and the difference we can make when organizations work together to support local families.

We're honored to announce that Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital’s September hospital-based Rising Star is Trish Weber from our Emergency Department. 🌟 After learning about updated requirements for hospital hold warning signage, Trish reviewed the existing signs, identified missing language and ordered replacements before a follow-up was even needed. 👏 Trish’s attention to detail and proactive approach helped make sure the department was ready to meet the updated requirements. We’re glad to recognize her for catching the change, taking action and keeping patient safety at the forefront. 💙

Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital’s September clinic-based Rising Star is Tricia Stafford, CMA at Samaritan Health Clinic – Sweet Home. 🌟 After overhearing a stressful interaction involving a patient dealing with a family medical situation, Tricia stepped in to offer support and help coordinate care. She took the time to listen and offer reassurance. We’re proud to recognize Tricia for the thoughtful way she cared for this patient and helped connect the dots when they needed it most. 💙
