🎃🍂 LET THE GOURD TIMES ROLL at Spring View Hospital! 🍂🎃

We had a week full of fall fun, friendly competition and giving back to our community! 💙 Here's a look at the fun:

🥫 600 Food Items Collected! Our departments competed in a weeklong food drive, collecting 600 items to donate to the Rotary Club for distribution to a local food pantry. Congratulations to Women's Center, Lab and Pharmacy for bringing home the win!

🧠💙 World Stroke Day | Know the Signs. Act FAST. 💙

A stroke can happen to anyone, at any age, and recognizing the warning signs can save a life. This World Stroke Day, Spring View Hospital encourages our community to learn the signs of a stroke and know what to do when every second counts.

Remember BE FAST:

🔹 B – Balance: Sudden loss of balance or coordination
🔹 E – Eyes: Sudden changes in vision
🔹 F – Face: Does one side of the face droop?
🔹 A – Arms: Is one arm weak or difficult to raise?
🔹 S – Speech: Is speech slurred or difficult to understand?
🔹 T – Time: CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY!

Other warning signs can include sudden numbness or weakness, confusion, or a severe headache with no known cause.

🚨 Do not wait for symptoms to go away. Do not drive yourself to the hospital. Call 911 immediately. Even if symptoms disappear, emergency medical care is essential.

This World Stroke Day, help us spread awareness, recognize the signs, and remind those around you that acting FAST can make all the difference.

A lump is not the only possible sign of breast cancer. Changes such as swelling, skin dimpling, discharge, redness, pain or a change in breast size or shape are worth discussing with a healthcare provider.
