Pajama Day might just be our favorite day of Spirit Week! 🛌✨ We showed up comfy, cozy, and questionably ready for a nap… but therapy must go on! 😂

Turns out you CAN be productive in pajamas. Who knew?! 🤷‍♀️🤣

10/10 would recommend making PJs part of the dress code. 💙❤️💛

We’re seeing DOUBLE… and sometimes TRIPLE! 👀😂💙

Our APT crew understood the assignment for Spirit Week Twinning Day—whether they came as twins, triplets, or just found a few coworkers who were ready to match! 🤩

Matching outfits + amazing coworkers + lots of laughs = another fun day at APT! 💙

We love a team that works together, plays together, and apparently… dresses together too! 😂👯‍♀️👯‍♂️

💙💚 **DAYTIME ABA OPENINGS IN LENOIR!** 💚💙

Appalachian Pediatric Therapy currently has **daytime openings for in-clinic ABA therapy** at our **Lenoir, NC location!** 🎉

Our ABA program provides individualized, evidence-based support designed to help children build meaningful skills in communication, social interaction, independence, daily routines, and more.

**To be considered for services, children must:**

✅ Have a **current Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) diagnosis**
✅ Have **Vaya Health Medicaid**
✅ Be available for **daytime, in-clinic ABA services** at our Lenoir location

💙 **At this time, Vaya Health Medicaid is the only insurance we are able to accept for ABA services.**

We currently have **daytime availability**, but openings are limited!

Appalachian Pediatric Therapy is expanding our **ABA services to Ashe County, NC!** 🎉

We will be providing **in-home ABA therapy**, allowing children to receive individualized support within their natural home environment. 🏡

We are currently **starting a waitlist** for families in Ashe County who are interested in ABA services.

To be considered for services, children must:

✅ Have a **current Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) diagnosis**
✅ Have **Vaya Health Medicaid**
✅ Reside in **Ashe County, NC**

🎨 Art, Teamwork, and Connection!

🖌️Our amazing ABA learners at APT recently came together for a special group art activity, and the results were beautiful—both on and off the canvas!

While art is a fantastic way to express creativity, it is also a powerful tool for building essential social skills.

During this collaborative project, our learners practiced:

☀️Sharing materials and taking turns
☀️Communicating ideas with peers
☀️Cooperating to achieve a shared goal
☀️Celebrating each other's unique talents

We are so proud of the teamwork and friendship on display. 🥰👏🏻🥰

Bittersweet news!

We are saying goodbye to our incredible RBT, Abbi, as she closes this chapter to head off to college. 🎓

✨Abbi has been such a bright light in our clinic. Her endless patience, creative energy, and genuine love for her clients have left a lasting impact on all of us. While we are going to miss her smiling face around here every day, we are incredibly proud of her and excited for this next big step.

Thank you for everything, Abbi! We wish you the absolute best of luck in your studies. You are going to do amazing things! 💙🌟
