🦷 June is Oral Health Month! 🦷

Did you know that your oral health is closely connected to your overall health? Regular dental care can help prevent tooth decay, gum disease, infections, and even identify signs of other health conditions.

At Helping Hands Clinic, we believe everyone deserves access to quality dental care. Through partnership with Rominger Family Dentistry, Caldwell County Health Department and Kintegra, we can provide urgent dental exams and extractions for uninsured adults in need.

These services are free to patients thanks to the generous support of the Bernhardt Furniture Foundation, the Lenoir Service League, and the First District Dental Society.

This Oral Health Month, remember:
✔ Brush twice a day with fluoride toothpaste
✔ Floss daily
✔ Limit sugary foods and drinks
✔ Schedule regular dental checkups
✔ Don't ignore tooth pain or bleeding gums

💙 June is National Employee Wellness Month! 💙

A healthy workforce is a stronger workforce, and Helping Hands Clinic is proud to support local employers through our Worker Wellness Program.

As health insurance premiums continue to rise and many hard-working individuals fall into the Medicaid coverage gap, the Worker Wellness Program provides an affordable healthcare solution for eligible employees in Caldwell County.

Through this program, Helping Hands Clinic serves as a patient's medical home, offering:
✔ Free primary and urgent care
✔ On-site laboratory services
✔ Free life-saving prescription medications
✔ Access to low-cost specialty care
✔ Free dental care
✔ Mental health services
✔ And more!

The program is available for adults earning up to 250% of the Federal Poverty Level ($39,900 for an individual or $82,500 for a family of four).

We ask that participating employers invest in their employees' health through a tax-deductible donation to Helping Hands Clinic.

Together, we can build a healthier workforce and a healthier Caldwell County.
