Aloha from Family Night! The weather outside may have been dark and cloudy, but inside our community was warm, sunny, and filled with love, laughter, and joy. Thank you to everyone who came out and spent their evening with us — our residents and families are what make Hickory such a special place! 🌺

A huge thank you to Angels Care Hospice for providing our monthly staff inservice!

Tim Kelly with Therapy Tech Contractors provided a simple, yet practical presentation on fall prevention and safe transfers, and Shannia Henson followed with an incredible and informative presentation on pain management.

Here at Hickory Terrace, we are constantly striving to do better — especially when it comes to our residents’ safety and comfort. Tim and Shannia helped further our team’s knowledge on how we can continue providing the best possible care to our residents every day.

A huge thank you to Whiteface’s Mr. Moncrief’s 5th grade music class for providing our residents with such incredible entertainment this afternoon! You could truly feel everyone’s spirits lift as they filled our community with the beautiful sounds of music. Moments like these bring so much joy to our residents and remind us how special community connections can be. 🎶💛💙

Garden Club is in full bloom here at Hickory Terrace 🌿🍓 Our residents are loving watching the tomatoes and strawberries thrive, and we’ve even got some cheerful sunflower sprouts popping up! There’s just something about being outdoors that makes everything a little brighter. ☀️

Today’s Armchair Travel took us south of the border as we celebrated Mexico with a little extra flavor… and of course, it just happened to land on Taco Tuesday 🌮😉

Our residents enjoyed a festive afternoon filled with vibrant culture, great conversation, and refreshing margaritas 🍹 (because when in Mexico… right?). From music to taco flavors, we brought the spirit of celebration right into our living room—no passport required.

At Hickory, it’s moments like these that turn ordinary days into something memorable.
