When we choose to see ability before disability, we create a world where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

Inclusion looks like recognizing and celebrating the unique strengths, perspectives, and value brought to our communities. Truly looking beyond a diagnosis or disability and seeing the individual first—their dreams, talents, contributions, and potential. It means creating opportunities, removing barriers, challenging assumptions, and ensuring everyone has the chance to participate, belong, and thrive.

I have the privilege to witness this everyday and advocate for a more inclusive world where we all have a place in it. I’m personally charged with making sure those connected to Happy Haven, LLC receive/deliver the highest level of quality and self-directed services.

As we wrap up another wonderful month, we’re reminded that it’s often the simple moments—those so easily taken for granted—that leave the greatest impact. Our summer has been off to an incredible (and busy!) start, with each day filled to the fullest. From hiking trails and community adventures to quality time with family, laughter with friends, and trying new experiences, every moment has been an opportunity to make memories, build connections, and celebrate life. These are the moments that truly matter, and we’re grateful to be part of each one. ☀️💙
