Welcome Cooper Jack 9lbs 13oz. This momma asked us to be part of her journey very early on to provide care and labor support. She took every diet suggestion, exercise suggestion, and absolutely built herself such endurance, and an incredibly cute and strong baby. Mom does not have give up in her vocabulary and would have kept pushing through every hurdle till advised to go a different direction. She made difficult choices after over 24 hours of labor (18 active hours 😳) for the best outcome of her baby and herself, and we are so proud of her for it. This family adds a third boy to their beautiful collection and they have become dear friends. God bless you sis as you raise these boys. Your humble and precious spirit leaves an impression on us. 💜

When did “pregnancy after 35” become synonymous with “high risk,” “closely monitor everything,” and apparently… “geriatric.”

A woman’s age is not her entire health history.

Women over 35 have healthy pregnancies and beautiful births every single day. And for many, midwifery care offers the individualized, relationship-based care they’re looking for.

So if you’re pregnant after 35 and someone has already made you feel like your body is suddenly a ticking time bomb…

Take a breath.

Ask questions. Look at the evidence. Find a provider who will look at you, not just your age (🗣ahem, a midwife😉)

And remember, if you're not getting a senior discount, refuse to be called geriatric. 😂
