Today is the 82nd Anniversary of D-Day.
The D-Day operation of June 6, 1944, brought together the land, air, and sea forces of the allied armies in what became known as the largest amphibious invasion in military history. The operation, given the codename OVERLORD, delivered five naval assault divisions to the beaches of Normandy, France.

You don't need to leave your home to access VA virtual emergency & urgent health care. Nurses are available to evaluate your symptoms and recommend next steps that could include a virtual appointment with a medical provider or a consultation with a tele-emergency care provider.

Unless you are having emergency symptoms listed below, before you go to a community or VA emergency room, call VA Telehealth Emergency / Urgent Care. Veterans will speak to a nurse who can recommend a virtual appointment with a medical provider or a same-day consultation with a tele-emergency care provider.

When Veterans contact VA Telehealth Emergency / Urgent care, details of that encounter are added to their medical record, this ensures that their care team and medical provider can review and stay up to date.
