Dr. Punzal is a member of the Hawai’i Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. Certifications include Diplomat of National Board of Optometry and Diagnostic and Therapeutic Ocular Pharmacology. He has special interest in therapeutic and specialty contact lenses, fashion eye wear, and pre & post operative care.

Aloha Kaua’i! Due to the outages our island community is facing from Hurricane Lowell, Punzal Vision will be closed on Wednesday, September 09. We truly apologize for the inconvenience. Please take care of yourselves & your ‘Ohana, as many of us are left without power, cell service, & are recovering from damages.
If you had an eye exam with us within the last year, you may access your prescription online at punzalvision.com > patient resources > eyeglasses & contact lens prescriptions.
If you had a scheduled appointment with us on Wednesday, we have sent secured messages to your phone numbers on file. We will continue to update you all via Instagram & online. We appreciate your understanding & pray for your safety🤍

Although we are saddened with Kauai Marathon/Half Marathon cancellation, we did have great team bonding outside of the office for the HPH Race Expo & team brunch at Break + Feast!
Mahalo nui Kaua’i Marathon for putting the safety & care of our community first. We know it was a difficult decision, but there’s always next year!
As a reminder, our office will be closed on Monday, 09/07/2026. We have tentative hours, weather permitting, for Tuesday, 09/08/2026 from 9am-2pm. Please give our office a call or text to confirm our business hours. We will also post our hours in our Instagram stories.
