Introducing something new at MY Wellness Center Lincoln.

Sacred Stillness: Restorative Yoga + Sound Bath is a new monthly experience created to give you space to slow down, soften, and simply be.

We’ll begin with gentle restorative yoga and supported stretches, then settle in for a relaxing sound bath featuring crystal singing bowls, chimes, and other soothing instruments.

No yoga experience needed. All levels are welcome.

As I have been preparing for this month's Restorative Yoga + Sound Bath class, I’ve been thinking about how much this season naturally invites us to practice letting go. The trees don’t fight what is changing. They simply release what is ready to fall and allow the season to be what it is. And I think there’s something in that for us too.

So for this month’s Restorative Yoga + Sound Bath, our theme will be:

Making space for you this fall season 🍂

We will spend our time together slowing down and making room for whatever you need right now. As you enter the space enjoy some fall spiced tea, grab a card to help with your intention for class. Class will begin with some seated stretches, move into some restorative poses and then Jennie will play her singing bowls and other instruments to help deepen your relaxation and experience.

You’ve seen the colorful screens—but what does “scalar waves” mean?

In EESystem’s terminology, scalar waves are proposed energy fields generated by specially arranged computer units. The manufacturer describes these units as working together to create a field throughout the room, alongside the colorful light displays.

This is the explanation behind the technology; its proposed mechanism and health benefits have not been established by strong independent clinical evidence.

At MY Wellness Center, your session is an opportunity to get comfortable, unplug, and make time for rest. We like to think of our Energy Spa as jumper cables for your day—a place to pause, rest, and “recharge” when you’re feeling drained.

One of my favorite Lincoln coffee shops is Rose Cat Coffee Co. — and I love it for so much more than the coffee (their London Fog tea is the best!).

Rose Cat was created with a beautiful mission: providing meaningful employment opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. It’s a place where people are given the support and opportunity to learn, work, connect with the community and show just how capable they are.

And on top of that? It’s just a really cute, cozy coffee shop. Grab a drink, find a spot to read or catch up with a friend, and support a local business doing something pretty special in our Lincoln community.
