This young guy is coming along so well! We are very pleased with how good he is doing now, we’ve just about got his up and down patterns figured out and how to get around them so he has his down times for shorter periods 😆🥰

The therapeutic side of our AquaTreadmill! Situations like these are what it is absolutely perfect for, if you’ve followed our page you’ve probably seen him! In case you’re a new follower, this is a shoulder fracture patient that came to us last year and was with us for a couple of months for rehabilitation. Now we are floating him in the treadmill to gently build that pectoral muscle back up while taking the weight off so we don’t have any impact on the joints. The treadmill is good for this type of rehab because we can control the speed of the horse and they can only go in one direction, straight. Which helps to build muscle more evenly all around. We have a new belt on our treadmill that is similar to a memory foam type of material but durable, so is extremely comfortable for them to walk on. This guy has definitely given his approval of it 🥰

💯🌟Theraplate after a good water workout helps to keep the muscles from getting fatigued and sore, paired with the solarium red light above that helps to soothe the muscles. All of our client horses get a bare minimum of two modalities a day! We give them the best care we possibly can to assure they stay feeling great and getting better each day they’re with us!

Starting up some regular lunging for this little lady here to get out that pent up energy and build her stamina up even more before it’s time for her to go home! Some good ground work is always great paired with the water modalities that we offer for building nice muscle tone😊
