Meeker Memorial Hospital and Clinics has been working for several years to update its campus to address outdated infrastructure and improve efficiency. The new addition will replace the east and west clinics, expand the therapy area, provide a new infusion center, and consolidate several support services. The project will position the hospital to successfully provide inpatient and outpatient needs of the community for many years to come.

This morning, the County Board took the next step to support the project through approving $28.9 million in bonds. The bonds will be repaid by the hospital's operating revenues; no property tax dollars have been committed to the project.

A groundbreaking for this project will be scheduled for September and construction is anticipated to be completed in 2028.
