2026 Association for Driver Rehabilitation Specialists conference. Staci, Stacie and Ted had days of education, hands on equipment use in the exhibit hall and lots of networking with the best in the industry. Staci also had a board meeting and Ted earned the Vehicle Modifications Badge.

Ted is learning a lot and having a blast in the Applied Vehicle Modifications Beyond the Basics 2 day course taught by Jill Sclease, CTRS, CDRS. This course will earn him the vehicle modification badge.

A big thank you to Marni Sawyer, Insurance Agent with Comparion Insurance Agency, who joined our driver's education class last week to teach the students about car insurance. She was an excellent presenter, everyone asked great questions and learned a lot.

Ted and Staci had a great morning learning with Kristy and Amanda, occupational therapists, from Aging with Ability. They came to DriveAbility to see our program offerings, learn about the populations we serve and how as home care OTs they can assess a client’s driving risk and possible need for specialized evaluations or training by DriveAbility. We also learned about the excellent home based care they offer. We as a group will be working together to meet the needs of seniors, their goal to keep driving safely for as long as possible, and to plan ahead for driving retirement when it is needed. DriveAbility is very excited for this collaboration!
