🏡 Lake Mary Caregiver Needed

InPlace Home Care is seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver for a special long-term assignment supporting a senior in her home in Lake Mary.

🌿 Vegetarian Meals & Indian Cuisine Preferred

The client follows a vegetarian lifestyle, and we would especially love to hear from caregivers who are familiar with or comfortable preparing vegetarian meals and Indian cuisine.

Schedule:

✔ Approximately 5 hours per day

✔ Shift begins at 7:00 AM

✔ Long-term assignment

To ensure consistent support, we are seeking at least two caregivers who can work together to provide ongoing coverage and flexibility.

Responsibilities Include:

✔ Meal preparation

✔ Laundry

✔ Light housekeeping

✔ Companion care and engagement

✔ Helping maintain a welcoming and organized home

Requirements

✔ Level 2 Background Screening (or ability to obtain)

✔ Reliable transportation

✔ Professional, dependable, and compassionate approach to caregiving

✔ Prior caregiving experience preferred

InPlace Home Care is looking for someone 55+ who can spend a few hours each week with Mr. David, our 88‑year‑old Pennsylvania‑born legend with a gentle personality, a good sense of humor, and a stash of jokes he loves to share.

There is one requirement we’re not budging on:

🎴 You must already know how to play Gin Rummy. This is his game, his comfort zone, and his favorite way to connect.

Today, we’re proud to officially welcome Vera Ahmad, APRN, affectionately known to so many as “GiGi,” as Director of Clinical Services for InPlace Home Care. 💚

With more than 40 years of nursing experience, including home health, GiGi has served adults and seniors throughout Brevard, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, and Volusia Counties in home settings, as well as independent living, assisted living, and memory care communities.

Many families and professionals across Central Florida already know GiGi for the calm, compassionate way she cares for people and the relationships she has built throughout the communities she serves.

That same passion for older adults led her to launch Gentle Pathways Primary Care, LLC, where her focus continues to center around thoughtful, relationship-driven care that supports older adults in maintaining their health, independence, and quality of life.

At InPlace Home Care, we believe growing older should still feel full of life, independence, connection, and possibility with the right support surrounding you.
