Lorian Salinas, BBA, RN
Lorian is a compassionate and highly skilled Registered Nurse with more than 13 years of diverse clinical nursing experience, including 7 years specializing in chemotherapy/biotherapy infusion and oncology care and 6 years in high-acuity emergency nursing. Experienced in delivering safe, evidence-based patient care across infusion, emergency, hospice, home health and acute care settings while demonstrating sound clinical judgment and exceptional patient advocacy.
Graduated with an ADN in Nursing from Santa Fe Community College and earned a BBA from The University of Texas at El Paso, with majors in Management and Finance and a minor in Human Biology. This unique combination of clinical and business education provides a strong foundation in healthcare operations, leadership, financial stewardship, interdisciplinary collaboration, and quality improvement.
Demonstrated expertise in comprehensive patient assessment, chemotherapy and biotherapy administration, central and peripheral vascular access, emergency interventions, symptom management, patient and family education, and evidence-based nursing practice. Recognized for excellent critical thinking, strong organizational and time management skills, and the ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure clinical environments.
Certified in Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and Basic Life Support (BLS). Proficient in electronic medical records, clinical documentation and Spanish translator as a second language.
A lifelong resident of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Lorian is proud to continue serving Northern New Mexico. She commutes from Santa Fe to Los Alamos in her current role and is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care to the communities she serves. Outside of work, she is the proud mother of an active 11-year-old son who participates in multiple sports. Together, they enjoy spending the winter months snowboarding and making the most of New Mexico’s lakes during the summer, creating lasting family memories while embracing an active outdoor lifestyle.
