3 Things You Can do to Improve Your Relationships:

1. Learn to be calm, respectful, and succinct when sharing with your partner.
2. Become a good listener by staying focused on what your partner is saying, summarizing, and then acknowledging their perspective before responding.
3. Recognize if you’re becoming flooded with negative emotion and if so take a time out and practice self-soothing. Come back to the discussion when you are calm.
