One of the questions I hear most is…
"𝐂𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐦𝐞?"

The answer may be more comforting than you realize.

Research suggests that 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐚𝐲 𝐛𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐟𝐚𝐝𝐞.

So even if your loved one can no longer speak…
or open their eyes…
your voice may still reach them.

Tell them you love them.
Share a favorite memory.
Play the song that always made them smile.
Hold their hand.

Simply being present can become one of the greatest gifts you give.

Sometimes, the most meaningful conversations are the ones that don't require a response. 💛

If you're walking alongside someone in their final days, you don't have to wonder what to do alone. I'm here to help you navigate this tender journey with compassion, guidance, and presence.

August is National Make-A-Will Month…
and a will is more than a legal document.

It’s a love letter.
A quiet way of saying,
“I was thinking of you… even when I’m no longer here.”

It brings clarity instead of confusion,
peace instead of pressure,
and guidance during a very difficult time.

It’s also a way to honor what matters most—
the people you love,
the causes you believe in,
and the legacy you wish to leave behind.

If this is something you’ve been quietly thinking about…
you don’t have to navigate it alone.
I’m here to walk alongside you. 💛

So many people say the same thing when they think about the end of life:
“𝐼 𝑗𝑢𝑠𝑡 𝑤𝑎𝑛𝑡 𝑡𝑜 𝑏𝑒 𝑎𝑡 ℎ𝑜𝑚𝑒.”

Home feels familiar.
Comforting.
Surrounded by the people, memories, and little things that matter most.

But what many don’t realize is…
dying at home often asks a lot from the people who love them.

It can look like long nights, quiet watchfulness,
holding both the practical care and the emotional weight.

For some families, it feels deeply meaningful—
a way to be close, to give back, to walk that final chapter together.

And for others…
it can feel overwhelming, uncertain, even lonely.

That’s where support matters.

You don’t have to carry it all on your own.
As an end-of-life doula, I sit alongside you—
offering guidance, presence, and support
so you can focus on what matters most:
being there, with love. 💛

If you or someone you love is hoping for a peaceful passing at home, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

Have you ever heard someone say…
they saw a light at the end?

In life’s final moments, some people speak of a radiant light,
a peaceful presence… even loved ones waiting for them.

And in those moments, something shifts.

There’s a calm.
A softness.
A sense that they are not alone.

Some explain it as part of the body’s natural process.
Others believe it may be a gentle glimpse into something beyond this life.

But whatever it is…
it often brings peace.

And maybe that’s what matters most.

For those sitting at the bedside, these moments can feel both mysterious and deeply comforting—
a quiet reminder that the end may not be something to fear…
but something we are gently guided into.

If you or someone you love is walking through this tender time, you don’t have to do it alone. I’m here to offer compassionate support every step of the way.

There’s something about music…
it reaches places words sometimes can’t.

At the end of life, a familiar song can bring comfort, spark a memory, or simply create a moment of peace—for both the person who is dying and the people who love them.

If you’re sitting beside someone in their final days, music can be a beautiful way to stay connected.

Here are a few gentle ways to use it:

🎶 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐚 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭
Choose songs they’ve loved throughout their life—music from their youth, special occasions, or quiet favorites.

🎶 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐫, 𝐬𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐬
Soft instrumentals, hymns, or calming melodies can ease anxiety and create a peaceful space.

🎶 𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬
Play songs that tell a story—ones that might bring back moments you’ve shared together.

🎶 𝐊𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐢𝐭 𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭
Even one song, played softly, can be enough. Sit together. Listen. Hold their hand.

Sometimes, it’s not about filling the silence…
it’s about creating a space where love can still be felt. 💛

And even when someone seems unresponsive,
they may still hear it.
They may still feel it.

If you or someone you love is navigating this tender time, you don’t have to do it alone. I’m here to help you create moments of comfort, connection, and peace.

Summer has a way of inviting us outside…
into the warmth, the light, the quiet beauty of nature.

And in life’s final chapters, those simple moments can mean everything.

A few minutes in the garden.
The scent of fresh flowers.
The feeling of sunshine on your skin.
A shared story under the shade of a tree.

Nature has a gentle way of calming the mind, easing the heart,
and bringing us back to what truly matters—connection, presence, and being together.

And it doesn’t just help the one who is nearing the end…
it gently supports the caregivers, too—
offering a breath, a pause, a moment of peace in the midst of it all.

Even the smallest moments…
can become the ones we hold onto the longest. 💛

So this summer, if you can, step outside with someone you love.
Sit together. Breathe. Remember. Simply be.

And if you or someone you love is navigating this tender time, you don’t have to do it alone. I’m here to support you with care, compassion, and presence.

We often think love means holding on.

Holding tighter.
Staying longer.
Not letting go.

But sometimes… love asks something much harder.

To soften our grip.
To release.
To let someone we love take the next step—without us.

At the end of life, this can be one of the most tender and difficult moments we face.

Because letting go doesn’t mean we stop loving them.
It means we love them enough to choose their peace… even when it breaks our heart.

It means sitting beside them, holding their hand, and quietly saying,
“It’s okay. You can rest.” 💛

There may be things left unsaid.
Questions without answers.
Moments we wish we had more of.

But love doesn’t need perfect closure to be real.

Sometimes, the most sacred act of love…
is allowing someone the space to go peacefully.

Not because we’re ready—
but because we love them.

If you or someone you love is walking through this tender space of loving and letting go, you don’t have to carry it alone. I’m here to walk alongside you with compassion, presence, and support.

Sometimes, the most important words are also the simplest:
“𝐼 𝑙𝑜𝑣𝑒 𝑦𝑜𝑢.”

At the end of life, those words carry a quiet kind of power.

They’re often among the last things people say…
and the last things families remember.

And in moments when someone seems unresponsive,
they may still hear you… and feel your love.

So if you ever find yourself sitting beside someone you love,
don’t wait for the “perfect” moment.

Say it.
“𝐼 𝑙𝑜𝑣𝑒 𝑦𝑜𝑢.”
“𝐼’𝑚 ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒.”
“𝑇ℎ𝑎𝑛𝑘 𝑦𝑜𝑢.”

Because those words don’t just comfort the person leaving…
they become something the ones who stay will carry forever. 💛

If you or someone you love is navigating this tender time, you don’t have to do it alone. I’m here to support you with care, compassion, and presence.

Father’s Day has a way of bringing back the memories… doesn’t it?

For those of us whose dads are no longer here, it can be a mix of love, gratitude… and a quiet kind of missing.

So I’d love to ask you this:

💬 What is the most impactful lesson you’ve learned from your dad?

For me, it’s this…

To spread love and positivity wherever you go.

My dad believed in being the kind of person others felt good around—someone who brought light into a room. His laughter, his warmth… those are the things I still carry with me every day.

And even now, in the big moments and the small ones…
I still feel his presence. 💛

Sometimes, the greatest legacy our dads leave behind isn’t in what they had—
but in how they lived… and how they loved.

I’d love to hear your story. 💬

And if this Father’s Day feels a little heavy for you, you don’t have to hold it all on your own. I’m here to help you honor, remember, and celebrate the ones you love.

“Family doesn’t always share your DNA…
but they may be the ones holding your hand when it matters most.”

Not everyone’s family is defined by blood.
For many in the LGBTQ+ community, family is chosen—
built through love, trust, and showing up for one another,
again and again.

And at the end of life…
that truth matters deeply.

Because in those final moments,
it’s not about labels or expectations—
it’s about who is there.
Who knows your story.
Who honors your identity.
Who loves you, fully and without question.

That’s why it’s so important that care decisions reflect your wishes—
including who gets to be by your side.

As an end-of-life doula, part of my role is to help ensure
that the right people are present, heard, and included—
so that no one feels unseen or alone in their final chapter.

Because everyone deserves to be surrounded by the people
who truly feel like home. 💛

If you or someone you love is navigating this journey, I’m here to offer compassionate, inclusive support every step of the way.
