We are happy to announce that 𝐂𝐎𝐕𝐈𝐃-𝟏𝟗 𝐯𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝟓 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫. Valley Pediatric Medical Group is an approved COVID-19 vaccine provider and has been administering them since June 2021.⁣

The Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine is a two-dose mRNA vaccine series with a 21 day interval between doses. It is required that patients wait 15 minutes after receiving the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine for a post-vaccination observation. Patients with a history of immediate allergic reaction of any severity to a vaccine or injectable therapy will require a 30 minute post-vaccination observation.⁣

Appointments are available during normal business hours for patients and their families. If you have received your first Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine elsewhere, we will be happy to complete the series for you. Please bring in your vaccine card that was given to you at your first dose.⁣
