Because wellness shouldn’t leave you with more information and no idea what to do next. It should give you tools you can actually use in your everyday life.

Somewhere along the way, a lot of us learned to apologize for who we are. All the years of being told I was this or that or.. Something now kind. It takes its toll and really makes you believe that you are those things.
But here's what I've learned...

There is a difference between growing as a person and shrinking yourself to make other people comfortable.

I can continue learning, listening, and becoming a better human… And still refuse to apologize for the parts of me that make me... me.

That's what being unapologetically yourself means. And it doesn’t mean not saying sorry when you are in the wrong. It means, you stop apologizing for existing.

I'd love to know...
What's something you've stopped apologizing for?

Clarity doesn’t always arrive with a perfectly mapped-out plan.

Sometimes it’s recognizing what matters now, knowing what deserves more attention, seeing what’s no longer working or simply having enough information to choose the next direction.

We can make meaningful decisions without knowing exactly how everything will unfold.

That’s part of the work I do in wellness optimization: looking at where things are now, identifying what could be better supported, and creating a path forward that’s built specifically for you your health, your priorities, your goals, and your life.

Clarity gives us direction. Certainty was never a requirement.

We all go through hard seasons. Grief deserves to be felt. Pain deserves to be acknowledged. Processing what you've been through is part of healing.

But there's a difference between honoring your past and building your life around it. When this old timer said, “it’s better looking forward at the ocean” it just felt so right understanding the deeper meaning. It’s ok to talk about your past, it’s a big part of your life, but, it’s also ok to look forward and heal from it.

Healing isn't pretending it didn't happen.
Healing is allowing yourself to believe there's still something beautiful waiting in front of you.

Keep looking toward the horizon. Heal and look at the beauty.

Longevity gets a lot of attention right now. Supplements. Wearables. Red light. Cold exposure. Peptides. Expensive technology.

I’m interested in all of it. But I’m even more interested in the foundation underneath it.

How well are we sleeping? Are we building and maintaining muscle? How are we managing stress and supporting our nervous system?

Are our daily habits actually supporting the life and health we want five, ten, or twenty years from now?

Wellness optimization is about looking at the whole picture and identifying where meaningful changes can be made now.

Because living longer is only part of the conversation.

I want to live well longer.

What is it like to walk through life and have to face your fears?

Today was a really big day for me. I knew the waves were big just like they were exactly a year ago. Every duck dive under a wave that I took today last year kept flashing before my eyes and when I lost my board on a wave it all came rushing back. I envisioned that my fin was going to come down and slice me open again. And what would my life look like?

But I went out in the water anyways. I said a prayer of protection. I was cautious… Maybe overly cautious today and got out sooner than I normally would. I felt like I didn’t want to push my luck because today wasn’t just about catching a wave. It was about walking through my fear. Walking through a traumatic event and getting to the other side.

If there’s anything I’ve learned in the last decade, there can be purpose in pain. I even have a tattoo that says, “Strength, Courage and Struggle” because without struggle you would never know how to show up strong and walk through life with courage.

And through all of the hardships, and storms, I’ve kept walking, kept showing up.

I've had to start over more times than I can even tell you. After cancer. After loss. After becoming a single mom. After realizing that parts of my life no longer fit the person I was becoming.

Every single one of these things asked something different of me.
I had to learn how to trust myself, to have faith again, protect my peace, let go of what wasn’t meant for me, and to believe there was still something beautiful ahead because I know from experience, that the sun comes up after the storm.. Every single time.

If you're standing at the beginning of your next chapter, keep going. You got this and if you need support DM me the word “SUPPORT” and I’d love to connect with you.

Let’s talk about abundance. A friend recently wished me abundance and a few minutes later, a bird pooped on me.

Yup.. through my glasses and on my face. My first thought, “isn’t that good luck?”

It made me laugh, and also made me think about how often we're looking for abundance in the big things like a promotion, a relationship, a financial breakthrough, while completely missing the tiny reminders that life is already pretty darn incredible.

Maybe abundance isn't always what shows up in your bank account or with rainbows and sparkles.

Maybe it's laughter with a friend, a morning hike, feeling good, a sunset, or even getting pooped on by a bird.

I'll take all of it.

You don’t owe everyone an explanation for who you’re becoming.

Some people only understand the version of you that made sense to them.

Growth can make relationships uncomfortable not because you’re doing something wrong, but because you’re no longer playing the role people became accustomed to.

Let yourself change.
