Robyn Broadus Hi! Welcome. A space to be inspired and refreshed. I hope that alongside the pain, we can also become aware of… good!✨Mom|Wife|FollowerofJesus|TBI Survivor|LMFT

May we be gentle and kind to ourselves, again and again and again. We’re human!!

And may we practice laughing when we make “errors.”

It’s a bummer that I forgot my phone and flowers, and I’m also feeling just fine now about how things played out. :) I think it’s kind of funny. 😂

Growing up, I was likened to a bird. 🕊️This new rebrand has naturally “taken flight” out of this. 🌟

Take a peek around if you’d like. My deep hope is that this’ll be a refreshing place for you to rest & reset —growing in steadiness and resilience regardless of what the skies are looking like outside.

I’m so so happy you’re here— welcome!! 🕊️🪺💗

These gorgeous flowers (and making this video😂) are helping me feel good in my body in the midst of the heat, state of our world, personal struggles, everything else.

These flowers and A/C are also true. And brought me a smile when I made this video this morning, and make me smile too right now.🌸

May we notice the good that’s here with us, too. And let that strengthen us. 💗💗💗

If you feel like sharing your “what else is true” now, of course please do! 🕊️

Small joys, that help regulate me.🌟And both of these things are possible through a tag team effort with my officemate, .harrison.therapy! Joy can happen when we work together. 💗🙏

If you’d like to share, what’s a small joy for you!?

Psychoeducation:
Choosing to pay attention to the good and/or neutral actually helps regulate and strengthen our nervous systems, which means we can manage the hard or distressing things better. I’m practicing this right now. And this moment was so fun. 🌟

Inspiration:
May we give ourselves permission to be lifted up by good (big good or little good— any amount or type of good). 💗

Warmly,
Robyn

We were both half-dead after being in horrific car crashes. When we were both in medically-induced comas, medical personnel were preparing our families for our deaths.

Our stories are almost 10 years apart, yet have some striking parallels. Including the fact that somehow we both amazingly survived. And are managing and living life again!!!(Even though I’ll speak for me, it’s not perfect has many ups and downs—for all sorts of reasons— and the fact that I get to live it is still humbling and amazing. )

Just like for Kaitlynn and me, we are each so rich and multilayered. And we cannot judge someone by how they appear.

So, here’s the big invitation: let’s be especially kind and curious and gentle towards others!!! Again and again and again. 💗🌟

Love, Robyn

P.S. My girls love Kaitlynn as much I do. Those are the cute feet you see. 😂🌟

Hi! I’m Robyn. I’m a trauma therapist, wife, mom, and follower of Jesus.

I also have this TBI miracle story and am in awe, still, to not only have survived but also to have recovered fully (albeit imperfectly), years later.

Alongside everything else we can be aware of, I’m hoping this can be a space where we can be aware of things that bring goodness and light and hope. I plan to share:
- education on how trauma affects our bodies
- tips for building inner wellness, and
- stories from my TBI recovery—of things that helped strengthen me during overwhelm and uncertainty, which I used then, also now. :)

I hope you will pause for a moment, and be able to receive. Welcome!!

💗, Robyn

P.S. Shout out to for this photo and to for creating a beautiful space that consistently helps regulate my nervous system. :)

Have you ever wondered:
💭 What is trauma, and how does it affect us?
💭 What does resilience really mean?
💭 How can I heal and move forward?

I’ve been there—as a trauma survivor, licensed therapist, and guide for others on their healing journey. In this IG Live, I’ll be sharing my personal story of healing and resilience, along with evidence-based insights on trauma and resilience, so you can feel seen, understood, and empowered. 💕🌸 That’s my deep hope at least. 💕

Join me LIVE on Sunday at 11:45 AM PST as we dive into:
✨ What trauma really is (beyond what we think)
✨ How resilience is built (and why we all have it)
✨ My personal healing journey and key lessons learned
✨ How YOU can begin (or continue) your healing & growth journey, or help a loved one

I’ll be speaking live at a church campus in Santa Barbara—if you’re local and want to attend in person, DM me for details! My husband will press “start” on IG Live, and after I finish speaking, I’ll first answer questions from the in-person audience, then respond to questions here in the coming days. 💕🌸

You’re invited to bring your questions, your heart, and an open mind. I hope this time will be one of learning, hope, refreshment, and empowerment. ✨

The devastation from the fires is un-real. Even if you don’t typically pray, please pray with me. A lot of people feel helpless, and that’s something we can do.

Regarding other things we can do, the created a Southern CA Fires Resources & Recovery Information (and I know a lot do other people have too). Check out their post on their page.

Grieving with our community, and praying for hope and strength alongside the devastation.
