Big rock. A new story for a new week.

Few days ago at the end of a Reiki sessions my client shared her experience. She said that at one point she felt my hand pressing on her belly and it felt nice and warm. After few minutes she realized that both my hand touched other parts of her body so she assumed that I put a big rock there like they do when she gets massage:)

When she was done with her sweet sharing I told her that I didn’t use any rock. She asked me how is it possible? And I said I don’t know but it is possible and this is happening sometime:)

The mystery of Reiki:) love it so much.

So when was the first time I came across Reiki, without even knowing…
It was 1986, we just came back from traveling in Thailand and Nepal and my boy friend (at that time) was suffering from headaches that started during our trip. After few months of trying everything that the doctors suggested to do, to help him, with no much success we’ve heard about a guy that dose energy healing. We all ( family and friends) where so desperate to find something to help him, so he decided to try the witch guy:)
After the first visit my boyfriend came out with a big smile feeling much better and surprised. When we came home I asked him what did the guy do exactly … he showed me, how he put his hands on his body.
My boyfriend was surprised … I wasn’t. Something felt familiar and it just looked natural to me. He went for few more sessions and the headache was over and forgotten with time.…
it took me years to realize, that this, was Reiki.

Ok, one more Reiki story…:)

Few weeks ago I attended a dance workshop. It was intense. At the first evening I found a place to seat next to a woman. After a while we had a brake and she turned and asked me if I’m a healer and I said yes, feeling surprised. She shared with excitement that she arrived with pain in her hip and she felt something warm coming from my direction from the second I was seating next to her. She asked if I worked on her, and I replied, no, I was just resting. For the rest of the weekend she danced pain free and when she thanked me I said she should thank Reiki:) I love how Reiki is working in mysterious ways.

Reiki story

Last week I was invited to give Reiki at a work place as a fun day activity:) I was a little nervous because my clients usually choos to come.
It was a beautiful experience. I saw how the people got to open up and connect within themselves, with me and as a group.
After a short introduction I gave almost everyone a mini Reiki session. Feeling grateful for the opportunity to branch out in a way that I could never imagine. Thank you for the opportunity to try something new feeling uncomfortable and getting on the other side, feeling empowered:)
