Every day, we’re working to redefine what inclusion looks like for people with autism by empowering individuals to build meaningful relationships, pursue their goals, and live life on their own terms.

It is with heartfelt gratitude and remembrance that we honor the life and legacy of Toby Arenberg.❤️
A visionary parent, advocate, and co-founder whose legacy continues to shape Jay Nolan Community Services.

In the 1970s, Toby joined a group of parents determined to create more opportunities for people with autism. Their vision became reality in 1975, when they helped found what is now Jay Nolan Community Services.

Toby helped launch our groundbreaking telethons, raising vital funds and awareness. She also helped give our organization its name by securing permission from actor Lloyd Nolan to honor his son, Jay.

It’s FriYAY… and that means it’s time to celebrate our Employee of the Month! 🎉

This month, we’re recognizing our incredible team member, Beverlin Silva!!

Beverlin serves as the Administrative Assistant for our Adaptive Skills Training (AST) and Independent Living Skills (ILS) programs. She has also helped support the launch of our newly approved Tailored Day Services program, expanding opportunities for the people we serve.

Their favorite part of the role is helping new clients through the enrollment process and seeing them finally receive the services they’ve been waiting for. Watching clients thrive is what makes it all worthwhile. ❤️

When Beverlin is not making a difference at Jay Nolan, you can find her listening to Latin music, getting in a few extra steps, or enjoying a chocolate chip cookie. 🍪🎶

This week we’re excited to introduce Omid!! Omid has been a valued member of the Jay Nolan Community for over 20 years!



Through our Supported Living services, Omid has built lasting relationships with the same dedicated staff and roommates for more than two decades. A testament to the power of consistency and meaningful connections.✨

One of Omid’s greatest strengths is his friendly personality. He loves meeting new people, socializing, and bringing smiles wherever he goes.😁

When he’s not making music, Omid enjoys watching Barney, Super Mario Bros., Buzz Lightyear, and Mr. Bean! He also loves spending time outdoors, taking dogs for walks at the park.☀️

We’re so grateful to have Omid as part of the Jay Nolan Community!❤️
