Behind this photo is a little girl who had to learn resilience far too early.

A little girl who went through so much, yet still chose softness. Still chose hope. Still believed there was more waiting for her.

I owe it to her to keep becoming. To keep healing. To keep walking boldly into every room she once prayed she’d have the courage to enter.

When you honor the younger you it brings healing to your older you and I promise it will show♥️

The Molina Ring Reveal was lovely with my Miss Arizona USA pageant family! 💕✨ So much beauty, sisterhood, sparkle, and excitement in one room.

Now… T-minus 19 days until we compete! Feeling excited, grateful, and ready to continue to enjoy every moment of this journey💫

I had a full day with my Gang Gang! Still smiling about this one. 🌊💙

We took our Mentoring POC Healing Arts (MPOCHA) program to the Aquarium of the Pacific, and what a beautiful day filled with so much joy and connection.

We saw zebra sharks, leopard sharks, sea otters, giant Pacific octopus, day octopus, moon jellyfish, lorikeet birds, and y’allllll… I PET A BABY SHARK 🦈🤯😂 Truly a core memory because what?! Lol.

There is something so special about watching young people explore, light up, ask questions, laugh, and experience something new. Moments like these are such a reminder that growth, joy, community, and new experiences matter so deeply.

As someone who deeply values mental health, I believe creating spaces where young people can connect, learn, and simply enjoy being present is powerful. My heart is so full watching these moments unfold. ✨

Pageant prep is my favorite part of competing! It has been a journey of reconnecting with myself. I’ve been learning to slow down and pour into the parts of me that are so often busy pouring into everyone else.

As someone who spends so much time holding space for others, this season has reminded me that I deserve care, softness, and growth too. I legit love that preparation looks like becoming💕

Reset. Restart. Refocus. As many times as you need. 🤍

Mental health reminds us that healing, growth, and consistency are not linear. Some days you thrive, some days you regroup. Give yourself permission to begin again without judging where you are. There is strength in the reset. 23 days until Miss Arizona USA and this approach is helping me more than ever💕

Exactly 8 years ago, I walked across the stage with my doctorate degree not fully knowing all that life would ask of me.

At my graduation, my keynote speaker, Chadwick Boseman, reminded us that “the struggles along the way are only meant to shape you for your purpose.” At the time, I heard it; little did I know I was reallyyy about to see it in action.

Because in the 8 years since, there have been losses, pivots, moments of uncertainty, grief, growth, rebuilding, risks, and a whole lot of trusting myself when the path wasn’t clear.

And yet… purpose has a way of revealing itself.

Graduation was just the start to my journey that led me deeper into advocacy, psychology, community, storytelling, creating spaces for healing, acting, pageantry, modeling, and standing fully in who I am becoming.

8 years later, I realize purpose can look like many things. Sometimes it looks like surviving. Sometimes it looks like starting over. Sometimes it looks like continuing anyway.

Still pressing on. Still under construction. Still pushing with pride. Still aligned in my purpose. 🖤
