From sitting in the audience of AAO to standing at the podium 🎤👁️✨
Lecturing at the American Academy of Optometry annual meeting has been a professional goal of mine that I wrote down in my bullet journal way back in 2016. Ten years later, that dream became a reality.
Even better, I got to do it alongside some of my amazing colleagues from Azul Vision, talking about late-onset post-op cataract complications — because weird things can still happen years after cataract surgery.
Grateful for the opportunity, the people I got to share it with, and all the little steps along the way that led to this moment. And what better place to check off this career milestone than right here in our own backyard, Anaheim! ☀️🏰🍊
