Over the past few mornings, I've noticed how different the light feels.
The Summer Solstice has come and gone, yet the days remain long, warm, and inviting.
Nature isn't rushing anywhere.
The trees continue to grow one leaf at a time.
Flowers don't bloom all at once.
The ocean doesn't hurry to reach the shore.
There is a quiet wisdom in that.
As I reflected on this shift in the season, I found myself asking:
What deserves my energy this summer?
It's easy to become swept up in plans, expectations, and the momentum of the season. We often feel pressure to keep doing more, reaching higher, or moving faster.
Yet some of the most meaningful growth happens when we slow down long enough to notice what has already begun to bloom.
That led me to another question:
What if this season wasn't about filling every open space on the calendar, but about tending to what already matters?
Perhaps growth isn't measured by how much we accomplish, but by how intentionally we care for what is already taking root.
As we move toward Sunday's Strawberry Moon, the first full moon of summer, we're invited into another gentle moment of reflection. Traditionally, this moon marks a season of ripening—a reminder that not everything blossoms at once. Some things simply need patience, presence, and trust before they reveal their fullness.
Maybe this season isn't asking us to become someone new.
Maybe it's inviting us to fully inhabit who we already are.
That reflection inspired this week's Friday Sanctuary.
Friday Sanctuary
After the Light, Beneath the Moon
A Summer Solstice & Strawberry Moon Sanctuary
Join me for an afternoon designed to help you settle into the rhythm of summer with intention.
Together we'll create space to pause, breathe, and reconnect through practices that gently support the body, calm the nervous system, and invite deep rest.
Together we'll explore:
• Gentle, accessible yoga
• Breathwork for nervous system regulation
• Guided meditation
• Immersive sound healing
• Restorative relaxation
• Journaling and quiet reflection
Whether this is your first practice with me or you've been part of this community before, you're warmly welcome.
Bring a cozy blanket, your favorite mug for tea, a journal, and anything that helps you feel comfortable and supported.
As the weekend begins and the Strawberry Moon approaches, may this be your invitation to slow down, listen inward, and carry the light of the season with intention rather than urgency.
If your heart is longing for a slower pace, I'd be honored to welcome you into Sanctuary this Friday.
