Here are 5 gentle ways to handle emotional triggers without shutting down 💛

1️⃣ Pause and breathe – Take a deep breath. Give yourself a moment.

2️⃣ Name the feeling – “I feel sad.” “I feel frustrated.” Naming it helps.

3️⃣ Ground yourself – Notice what you see, hear, or feel around you.

4️⃣ Be curious, not critical – Ask, “Why do I feel this?” instead of judging.

5️⃣ Speak kindly to yourself – Use gentle words like you would to a friend:

“It’s okay to feel this way.” “You’re doing your best.” 🌷
