Tackle football players often sustain 23 times more high-magnitude head impacts than flag football players during practices and games. These repeated impacts can increase the risk of concussions and spinal cord injuries, as well as knee ligament tears, ankle sprains, and shoulder separations.

Today is National Physician Assistant Day! 🩺

What is a physician assistant (PA)?

PAs are licensed healthcare professionals who work with patients as part of a healthcare team. They can examine patients, diagnose and treat illnesses, create treatment plans, prescribe medications, and help patients manage their health.

PAs work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in many different specialties and settings. Together, they help provide patients with quality, coordinated care.
