When I was a teenager and in my early 20s, I wanted to be liked by everyone. ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ

I would almost never say โ€œnoโ€ even if someone was crossing my boundaries, and when I finally did I tend to overexplain myself.
It was exhaustingโ€ฆ
โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €
Back then, I had no idea that these small daily habits of people-pleasing were not only disconnecting me from my needs and emotions, but also making me lose trust in myself.
โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €
I reached a point where I couldnโ€™t really understand my behaviour or values anymoreโ€ฆ
I was so disconnected from my true self.

That was also the time when I became more interested in coaching and felt a desire to help other women come back to themselves and understand themselves better.

You are just living your dayโ€ฆ

And suddenly something small sends your body into โ€œ๐™–๐™ก๐™š๐™ง๐™ฉ ๐™ข๐™ค๐™™๐™šโ€: a look, a tone, maybe a short sentence said by a stranger, coworker, or client, something your friend or family member added to the conversation that lands harder than it should.
โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €
And no one around you even noticesโ€ฆ or realizes any of these things could have triggered you.
Because a trigger is usually a ๐™ข๐™š๐™จ๐™จ๐™–๐™œ๐™š ๐™ž๐™ฃ ๐™™๐™ž๐™จ๐™œ๐™ช๐™ž๐™จ๐™š, itโ€™s what your nervous system remembers as unsafe or harmful.
