Meet Dahéli Hall (she/her) 🎤✨

What does it look like when grief gets to laugh?

Dahéli Hall has spent her career answering that question. A Los Angeles-based comedian, writer, performer, and facilitator, Dahéli uses humor as a tool for truth-telling and healing and her work is landing on some of the biggest stages around.

She is the creator of SPADURA, an award-winning solo comedy special about IVF, grief, and the baby industrial complex. It toured nationally, had its world premiere at the 2025 American Black Film Festival, its LA premiere at the 2026 Pan African Film Festival, and has been acquired by Comedy Dynamics for a Fall 2026 release. As a writer and performer on Netflix’s Dear White People and Fox’s Emmy-winning MadTV, Dahéli brings sharp, culturally grounded storytelling to every room she enters.

She’s also the Founder of Pain Into Punchlines and she’s bringing all of it to the Whose Evidence? Conference this October.

We believe healing takes many forms — and yes, laughter is one of them.

Nicole Blaine is a stand-up comic who has graced the stages of NBC’s Today Show, E!’s That Morning Show, San Francisco Sketchfest, Boston’s Women in Comedy Festival, and more. She’s also the Executive Producer and Festival Director of The Showdown at the Westside Comedy Theater, head comedy writer for RealMomDaily.com, and co-executive producer of the HBO comedy special Burning the Light.

She lives in Santa Monica with her husband and two kids. In her words — they all suck, so she has great material.

Durga brings something to perinatal mental health that’s hard to put into a single title — and she holds several.

As MMHN’s Wellness Coordinator, Founder of Shifa Somatics + Apothecary, Certified Peer Supporter, Trauma-Informed Yoga & Somatics Teacher, artist, and Herbalist, Durga’s work lives at the intersection of clinical support, cultural wisdom, and decolonized healing.

A Q***r Mama of Lebanese, Choctaw, and Irish ancestry, her lineage and lived experience aren’t separate from her practice — they are the practice. Meet Helena Vissing, PsyD (she/her)

What happens in the body during pregnancy, birth, and early motherhood, and what does it mean for healing?

Helena Vissing has built her career around that question.
A licensed psychologist certified in Perinatal Mental Health and Associate Professor at the California Institute of Integral Studies, Helena is a scholar of maternal studies and somatic psychology whose work explores the deeply interconnected relationship between mind, body, and motherhood.

She is the author of Somatic Maternal Healing: Psychodynamic and Somatic Trauma Treatment for Perinatal Mental Health — a clinical and academic resource reframing how we approach trauma treatment in the perinatal period. And she brings that same depth to her podcast hosting on New Books in Psychoanalysis and New Books in Somatics, and her editorial work with the International Body Psychotherapy Journal.

This October, Helena is bringing all of that to the Whose Evidence? Conference — and we are honored to have her on our stage. ✨
