The Day Our World Changed: Myeisha’s Journey with MS 🧡
Welcome to our page. We are starting this space to share a journey that completely rewrote our lives, but more importantly, to show the world the incredible strength of my 16-year-old daughter, Myeisha.
Not long ago, Myeisha started experiencing strange, terrifying symptoms. What followed was a whirlwind that no teenager or parent should ever have to face:
🏥 Endless emergency room visits and doctor appointments
🧪 Weeks of stressful testing, scans, and painful procedures
🚑 An emergency transport to the Children’s Hospital
🛌 Multiple admissions, staying in hospital beds for days and weeks at a time
Through the tears, the unknowns, and the fear, we finally got an answer: Multiple Sclerosis.
MS is a heavy diagnosis for a 16-year-old, but Myeisha’s spirit hasn't broken. Watching her face every needle, every machine, and every doctor with absolute bravery has been the most humbling experience of my life.
She isn't letting MS define her. Instead, she is fighting back with creativity. Myeisha is channeling her energy into designing her own MS awareness merchandise (scarves, shirts, caps, and cups coming soon!) to help fund her fight and educate others.
We are using this page to be completely real about what it looks like to battle MS as a teen. Thank you for walking alongside us, supporting her designs, and lifting Myeisha up.
