A potential game-changer in pancreatic cancer.

Daraxonrasib, a novel KRAS-targeting therapy, nearly doubled survival in patients with previously treated metastatic pancreatic cancer in a phase 3 trial.

✔️ Median survival: 13.2 vs 6.7 months
✔️ Targets KRAS-driven tumors
✔️ Improved quality of life
✔️ Potential new standard of care

This isn’t a cure, but it represents one of the most significant advances we’ve seen in pancreatic cancer treatment in years.

Becoming a surgeon was never the obvious or expected path for me. It happened one step at a time — by chasing something I wanted deeply, even knowing I could fail along the way.

I knew I might not get into the dream school or the residency I hoped for. I knew the practice I envisioned might never happen. But I also knew I had to try.

I wasn’t the smartest person in the room. But I was relentless. I was resilient. And most importantly, I believed in myself when there was no guarantee it would work out.

Sometimes grit matters more than talent. Who else can relate? **alsurgeon

Nothing more important than training the next generation! residents are first line in the ER and lord knows, they get called for some of the most challenging cases. I spent the morning in “procto lab” sharing wisdom and pearls to set them up for success when they see a patient for re**al bleeding, hemorrhoids, a**l fissures, prolapse, or other anore**al conditions in the ED. We definitely had some laughs as we always do when we talk 💩💩. **alsurgeon
