BE THE MAN IN THE ROOM WHO HAS THE COURAGE TO SAY SOMETHING.

“Not all men.” YOU’RE RIGHT. But how are women supposed to know which ones?!

I’ve spent over a decade sitting across from predators, and let me tell you something. They don’t come with warning labels. They’re soccer coaches, teachers, pastors, and men who look just like everyone else.

Meanwhile, women are expected to live their lives constantly looking over their shoulders, sharing locations, covering drinks, and treating every stranger like a potential threat.

And here’s what I’ve learned: It’s not just the men committing these acts. It’s the men standing around doing NOTHING.

So if you’re one of the good guys, PROVE IT. Speak up. Call out other men. Stand up for the women who need someone in their corner.

Because silence protects predators, not victims.

THE CORNELL 7 CASE: FRATERNITY MEMBERS WERE ALLEGEDLY TOLD TO STAY QUIET AND GET “ON THE SAME PAGE.”

According to the allegations, fraternity members met after being told to stay quiet because this “could be bad” for the fraternity.

As a forensic psychologist AND a mom, this sets off every alarm bell. Independent memories matter. You don’t protect an institution or a reputation at the expense of getting to the truth.

Because when something this serious is alleged, the priority should be protecting the person who may have been harmed — not protecting each other.

A RECORDING FROM THE CORNELL 7 CASE CAPTURES THE MEN DESCRIBING THAT NIGHT — THEN QUESTIONING HER MEMORY.

She was trying to piece together a night she says she couldn’t fully remember, while one of the men told her, “It’s possible that both of us remember this and it’s not true.”

As a mom, this makes my BLOOD BOIL. Don’t make her question herself. Don’t demand a perfect memory from someone trying to understand what happened to her. Start asking why the evidence doesn’t match what she was told.

Got this lovely little message from someone who will remain nameless since everything is “alleged.” So we’ll just call him Silly Goose instead.

Silly Goose apparently wants me to take my video down and says he’s going to take “legal action against me.” LOL.

Just curious… is he planning on taking legal action against every single other person naming him as one of the Cornell Seven?

No?

Didn’t think so.

Luckily, you’re all a bunch of smart cookies. I’m sure you can figure out who Silly Goose is.

MEGYN KELLY, HOW CAN YOU SAY THIS ABOUT JANE DOE AFTER WHAT YOU WENT THROUGH YOURSELF?

You questioned why Jane Doe didn’t immediately go to police. You suggested maybe it was easier for her to call herself a victim than confront what happened that night.

But Megyn, you publicly spoke about being sexually harassed by Roger Ailes. You talked about the power imbalance and why you didn’t report him right away.

You asked people to understand that these experiences aren’t perfectly linear.

So why doesn’t Jane Doe deserve that same understanding?

HE SUED CORNELL TO CLEAR HIS NAME… AND ENDED UP EXPOSING HIS ENTIRE FILE.

One of the Cornell 7 guys challenged the school over his disciplinary record — and lost.

The filings say he walked into that room, didn’t intervene, left, and later submitted his own hair follicle test. His consequences? Write an essay, learn about the bystander effect, watch an educational video, and stay away from Jane Doe.

Apparently, those consequences were so “intolerable” he sued Cornell over them.

And now? We can read the filings.

These are allegations and claims contained in legal proceedings, not criminal findings of guilt.

NOT ALL MEN. BUT ALWAYS MEN IN FRATERNITIES.

The military takes individuals, strips away their identity, puts them through extreme stress and builds them back up as a unit. There’s hierarchy, humiliation, obedience, secrecy, loyalty and brotherhood. But the military has a defined enemy.

So I have to ask: in a fraternity, who is theirs?

When a male group becomes intensely tribal and there is no defined enemy, anyone outside the brotherhood can become one. The guy who won’t go along with it. The pledge who snitches. The girl who says no.

There will always be an out-group — and most of the time, it’s women.

Not all fraternities. Not all men. But we NEED to talk about what happens when loyalty to the brotherhood becomes more important than accountability.
