Community in Action | PCH Social Justice Initiative

The PCH Social Justice Initiative spent the afternoon giving back and supporting our local community. Together, we prepared 120 sandwiches and meal bags for Valley Change, which were distributed to community members in need.

Leading the effort were Chief Operating Officer Kelly Wu, LCSW; Director of Operations Emma Lihani, ASW; and Client Care & Compliance Coordinator Lena Lutz, alongside several other PCH team members and clients who generously volunteered their time.

It was a meaningful afternoon of connection, teamwork, and service—putting our commitment to social responsibility into action and supporting our neighbors with compassion and dignity.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated and helped make a difference, one meal at a time. 🥪💛

We’re grateful to have represented Psychological Care & Healing (PCH) at the Seattle OCD Conference this past week!

Chief Clinical Officer Adriana Westby Trent, PhD, and Director of Marketing Colleen Capistrano spent several days connecting with clinicians, referral partners, and behavioral health professionals from across the country while learning from leaders in OCD treatment and strengthening relationships within our field.

One of the highlights was hosting an evening with local professionals and community partners, where meaningful conversations, new connections, and a shared commitment to improving mental health care took center stage.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to connect with us. We look forward to continuing these partnerships and advancing compassionate, evidence-informed care for individuals living with OCD, anxiety, and other mental health challenges.

Psychological Care & Healing Center!

Over the course of two engaging days, clinicians strengthened their understanding of evidence-based approaches to OCD treatment while gaining practical tools they can immediately apply in their clinical work.

Day 1 featured:
🧠 Sanam Abrishami, PsyD, who presented Understanding OCD: Essential Insights for Effective Treatment, providing clinicians with a deeper understanding of OCD and key considerations for effective assessment and treatment.

💪 Michelle Hsieh, Head ERP Coach, who led an informative presentation on Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), highlighting practical strategies for implementing ERP and supporting clients through the treatment process.

Day 2 featured:
🌱 Chris Mulligan, LCSW, Director of the OCD & Anxiety Clinic, who presented on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for Broader Clinical Applications, exploring how ACT principles can be effectively integrated across a wide range of clinical presentations.

We are grateful to our presenters and attendees for creating a collaborative learning environment filled with thoughtful discussion, professional growth, and meaningful connection.

Thank you for your commitment to advancing clinical excellence. We look forward to seeing you at future PCH training events!

A huge thank you to all the adventurous attendees who joined us for the PCH Treatment Center Off-Roading Adventure during WCSAD! 🚙🌙

What an incredible evening exploring Berdoo Canyon under the stars, connecting with colleagues, experiencing the beauty of the desert, and sharing a little adrenaline along the way.

Events like these remind us of the importance of stepping away from the conference, disconnecting from our daily routines, and creating meaningful experiences together in nature.

We are grateful to everyone who participated and helped make the night such a memorable success. Special thanks to our drivers, trail leaders Chief Strategy Officer Scott Singer and Chief Operating Officer Kelly Wu, LCSW, and all who embraced the adventure!

Until next time—keep exploring, stay connected, and never stop seeking new experiences. 🌵✨
