If youâre just beginning your health journeyâor if youâve been off track latelyâdonât overcomplicate it.
Start by simply noticing what youâre reaching for throughout the day.
Ask yourself:
đ± Is this a whole food, or is it highly processed?
One of the most powerful changes you can make is to gradually replace processed foods with foods that come from nature.
Fresh fruits, vegetables, beans, lentils, potatoes, whole grains, nuts, and seeds provide the fiber, vitamins, minerals, and plant compounds your body needs to thrive.
Many packaged foodsâeven ones marketed as âhealthy,â like protein barsâcan have a place when youâre traveling or in a pinch.
But most of the time, your body will benefit more from simple, whole foods.
Take a look at your snacks this week.
How many come from a package with a long list of ingredients?
How many are foods that donât even need a label?
As you begin nourishing your body with more whole foods, something amazing happens.
You start to feel satisfied.
When your body is well nourished, youâre less likely to be driven by constant cravings, and it becomes easier to make healthier choices.
Youâre no longer eating just to fill your stomachâyouâre giving your body the nourishment it truly needs.
You donât have to change everything overnight.
Just begin to notice your patterns. Awareness is where lasting change begins.
Small choices, repeated consistently, create a healthier, stronger future. đ
