Overview:

Echo Park Acupuncture is a well established neighborhood community acupuncture clinic seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Acupuncturist with full knowledge of and passion for the community acupuncture business model. The ideal candidate will provide expert acupuncture treatments, based on the ability to diagnose the patient's needs in a potentially high volume and time constrained setting. The Licensed Acupuncturist will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and delivering safe, effective acupuncture sessions.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including physical examinations and health history reviews per scope of practice.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and best clinical practices.
Perform acupuncture procedures utilizing sterile techniques to ensure patient safety.
Educate patients on post-treatment care, lifestyle modifications, and holistic health practices when wise and necessary.
Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, patient progress, and clinical notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Ensure a clean and safe treatment environment adhering to CNT.

Qualifications:

Valid license as a Licensed Acupuncturist in California.
Proven experience in patient service, patient care, and patient assessment.
Skilled in acupuncture techniques.
Familiarity with CNT to prevent infections during procedures.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to establish clear physician-patient rapport.

“Updated COVID-19 vaccines have been delayed this year due to federal policy changes, and we are awaiting [Food and Drug Administration] licensure of this season’s products,” the L.A. County Department of Public Health said in a statement to The Times. “This means availability in September may be later than what people experienced last fall.”

“If they haven’t gotten it in a year, just go ahead, maybe, get it now,” Chin-Hong said. “Because also, the vaccine that’s being proposed [for this fall] is relatively the same formula as last year. ... It’s less important to wait.”

COVID is once again climbing to troubling levels in California — a worrying trend as health officials attempt to navigate a vaccine landscape thrown into uncertainty by delays and decisions from the Trump administration.
