Judy Hall Chen, MD, went to Boston University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, where she pursued her Doctor of Medicine degree. She graduated in 2006 and subsequently went on to LAC+USC Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, where she completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency. While there, she was peer selected and received the Team Spirit Award for cooperation and partners
hip and was also honored as Bayer Healthcare Pharmaceutical Best Teaching Resident (2008) as well as with the Nurse Choice Award for Excellence in patient Care (2008) and Daniel R Mishell Jr. Prior to medical school, Dr. Chen obtained a bachelor degree of arts in biochemistry and molecular biology at Boston University. She also received board certification in obstetrics and gynecology from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and maintains active professional society memberships with the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Medical Association, and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. She has also participated on a medical mission trip to Sarsa, India, in 2014, among other volunteering initiatives. Dr. Chen has research interests in the impact of big data analysis and data mining capacity upon both population health assessment and evidence-based medicine interpretation/application.
