Interprofessional Center of Excellence for Voice, Airway & Swallowing Disorders

The USC Voice Center is an interdisplinary center of excellence for the care of voice, airway and swallowing disorders. Our team of physicans and speech language pathologists with expertise in voice and swallowing care provide exceptional treatment of voice and swallowing problems. We utilize cutting edge technology and state of the art therapies including awake laser therapy, vocal cord injections and Botox injections. Our center is one of a small number of centers in the United States that provides true clinical and scholarly collaboration between the physician and speech language pathologist. Our approach to care of the professional voice is to work closely with our patient's voice trainers and singing teachers to ensure continuity of care and optimal outcomes. Our clinicians are expert at treating the issues experienced by professional and occupational voice users understanding the importance of maintaining entertainment, business and professional commitments while ensuring health and longevity of voice use.

Welcome Una Roze, our second SLP Clinical Fellow for the 2026-2027 year!

Originally from Latvia, Una earned her bachelor’s degree in Asian Studies/Japanese from the University of Latvia and later spent six years living and working in Japan as a coordinator for international relations. She later completed her M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology at CSU Northridge. Outside of work, Una enjoys singing, live music, good food, stand-up comedy, games, and exploring Los Angeles. She lives with her husband, Sean, their two dogs and a lovebird.

We’re so excited to have TWO speech-language pathology clinical fellows for the 2026-2027 year! First, please welcome Becca!

Rebecca Printz (she/her) is incredibly excited to be joining the team at the USC Voice Center!

She earned an MS in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from New York University, an MM in Vocal Performance from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, and a BA in Art History and BM in Vocal Performance from Oberlin College and Conservatory.
While at NYU, she completed clinical training at the NYU Langone Voice Center, which solidified her interest in voice and upper airway disorders. Before becoming an SLP, Rebecca worked as a teacher and performer, experiences that continue to shape her approach to clinical care.

Outside of the clinic, Rebecca enjoys cooking, running, reading, and discovering new neighborhoods. She is looking forward to getting to know Los Angeles and exploring everything the city has to offer!

Wishing a warm welcome to our 2026-2027 Laryngology Fellow, Dr. Andrew Yousef! Andrew is originally from Los Angeles but moved to San Diego for college, where he was a double major in economics and human biology. He then moved to San Francisco for medical school before returning to San Diego, where he completed residency. Andrew and his wife have one daughter - Mia. He loves live music, basketball (both playing and watching), trying new restaurants, and doing the New York Times crossword.

We look forward to spending this year with you!
