CABA is proud to offer the following services:

BEHAVIORAL SERVICES
We provide a range of supports across home, school and community-based settings. A combination of evidenced-based assessment and intervention procedures are used to help increase independence and bridge the identified gap between chronological and functional age. SOCIAL SKILLS
Small groups, clustered according to age range, are co

nducted on a weekly basis in the community setting. Group meetings are designed to directly teach certain essential social skills such as: Conversational skills, Sportsmanship, Hosting a Play Date and Dealing with Bullies. SPECIALIZED THERAPEUTIC SERVICES (STS)
In partnership with Westside Regional Center, CABA’s STS services are designed to support individuals who are at risk for an inpatient hospital admission or other more restrictive placement due to the severity of their problem behaviors. Problem behaviors may include, but are not limited to, property destruction, inappropriate language, aggression, and self-injurious behavior. Services are designed to be delivered up to 24 hours per day, 7 days per week; the frequency and duration of support is based on the individual needs of the client and his/her caregivers. Rachel Taylor, PhD, BCBA-D (formerly Tarbox) has been fortunate enough to practice in the field of behavior analysis for more than 20 years (initially working in several prestigious institutions including the New England Center for Children and the Kennedy Krieger Institute at Johns Hopkins Hospital). She served as the Student Representative on the Executive Council for the Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI), and later as the Membership Board Coordinator for ABAI. Dr. Taylor also served on the Board of Directors for the California Association for Behavior Analysis (CalABA). She was the founding Department Chair for the Masters and PhD programs in ABA at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Los Angeles and also held faculty positions at California State University, Los Angeles and California State University, Channel Islands. Dr. Taylor has served as a Guest Action Editor for the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis and has published in a number of peer reviewed journals. Her research is also featured in the seminal textbook: Applied Behavior Analysis, by Cooper, Heron and Heward. After supporting the growth of several large-scale agencies and schools, Dr. Taylor realized the potential problems associated with having an executive-based structure that is often far removed from individual clients and students. As a result, she founded CABA and is dedicated to personally supporting each and every CABA team member.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month 💚

Mental health matters at every stage of life and taking care of our emotional well-being is just as important as caring for our physical health. This month, we encourage everyone to continue the conversation, support one another, and prioritize self-care and compassion.

Together, we can help create a more understanding and supportive community. 💚
