Here's something most weight loss programs never talk about:
You are not just one person when it comes to food and your body.
There's the critic — the vigilant dieter who says "you need to be fixed."
Who sets impossible standards. Who shames you when you fall short.
There's the rebel — the part that feels those painful emotions and says "no. I'm not doing this. I'm numbing out." And reaches for food.
And then there's the part nobody talks about — the vulnerable you. The original self that got wounded somewhere along the way around the world of weight.
All three parts are always going to be there.
They're not going away.
And that's actually OK — because they evolved to protect you.
The real work isn't eliminating the critic or silencing the rebel.
It's building a powerful enough relationship with your inner coach that you can finally separate yourself from those parts. Hear them. Work WITH them. And lead them somewhere better.
That's not "being good."
That's a SKILL.
