Yesterday, Clínica Romero and community partners joined the office of Councilmember Hugo Soto-Martinez and the office of Mayor Karen Bass to distribute 100 boxes of food to community members in need, as part of National Health Center Week.

For over 40 years, Clínica Romero has shown up for our neighbors–not just in the exam room, but wherever the need is. Because health isn't just about treatment; it's about making sure every family has what they need to thrive.

Our Mobile Health Clinic is officially on the road! It's a fully equipped medical and dental clinic that allows us to bring healthcare directly into the communities we serve. Whether it's a neighborhood, school, community event, shelter, or anywhere care is needed, our team is ready to meet people where they are.

Our Mobile Health Clinic will provide:

In observance of Independence Day, all Clínica Romero clinic will be closed on Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4.

We will resume regular business hours on Monday, July 6.

If you have a medical emergency while our clinics are closed, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.

We wish you and your family a safe and enjoyable holiday weekend.

We are deeply disappointed that SB 1179 was held yesterday in the Senate Appropriations Committee.

Thank you to State Senator Caroline Menjivar for authoring this important bill, which would have created a pathway for licensed physicians from El Salvador to serve in California community clinics and help expand culturally and language-responsive care in underserved communities.

At a time when California faces a growing doctor shortage and federal healthcare cuts threaten access to care, our communities cannot afford more delays.
